Lorsque les gens regardent ses \u0153uvres d\u2019art, il esp\u00e8re qu\u2019ils ne remarquent pas seulement la beaut\u00e9 qu\u2019il capture dans la flore et la faune de son environnement, mais qu\u2019ils comprennent \u00e9galement qu\u2019ils entrevoient son essence en tant que Kanien\u2019keh\u00e1:ka. Dans le monde d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, o\u00f9 tout va tr\u00e8s vite, il pense que nous n\u00e9gligeons souvent la connection significative que nous offre la nature. Il sugg\u00e8re qu\u2019en appr\u00e9ciant la magnificence des arbres, du sol et des eaux, nous pouvons en tirer des enseignements pr\u00e9cieux. Aaron Rice est une artiste multidisciplinaire d\u2019origine Kanien'keha:ka et \u00c9cossais. Il utilise l\u2019estampe, de la projection vid\u00e9ographique, textiles, installation, et de la sculpture dans ses \u0153uvres nuanc\u00e9es. Il a obtenu son Baccalaur\u00e9at en arts visuels \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 d\u2019arts et design Emily Carr en 2025. He hopes that when people view his artwork, they not only notice the beauty he captures in the flora and fauna of his surroundings, but also understand that they are glimpsing his essence as a Kanien\u2019keh\u00e1:ka person. In today\u2019s fast-paced world, he believes we often overlook the meaningful connection that nature offers. He suggests that by appreciating the magnificence of trees, soil, and waters, we can learn valuable teachings from them. Aaron Rice is a multidisciplinary artist of Kanien'keha:ka and Scottish ancestry. His work combines the mediums of printmaking, video projection, textiles, installation and sculpture. He holds a BFA (2025) in visual arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Galerie She:kon, which means \u201chello\u201d in Kanien\u2019k\u00e9h\u00e0, focuses on showcasing solo exhibitions by up-and-coming Indigenous artists and curators.
